Give off a stink and some flame and then<\/p>\n

Nothing but ash<\/p>\n

Or<\/p>\n

You can bring your friends<\/p>\n

Prop ’em up like some shield<\/p>\n

Baste yourself in their accomplishments<\/p>\n

Stew in their suffering but mostly<\/p>\n

Hang out in the back<\/p>\n

Or<\/p>\n

You can attack the world with<\/p>\n

Sharp knives and attitude<\/p>\n

Bring out the loud drums<\/p>\n

Stain the walls with your sound<\/p>\n

Or<\/p>\n

You can tuck down into a ball<\/p>\n

Chin on chest and sobbing<\/p>\n

Ignore the love and hate surrounding<\/p>\n

Give in to the me-grims<\/p>\n

Or<\/p>\n

You can imagine heaven<\/p>\n

Think about clouds and Angels and harpsichords<\/p>\n

Wonder at the fantasy that is much like<\/p>\n

Spending lottery winnings you haven’t won yet<\/p>\n

Or<\/p>\n

You can fill yourself with power<\/p>\n

Kill the infidels and disavowed<\/p>\n

Burn down the non-believers<\/p>\n

Wrap yourself in War<\/p>\n

Or<\/p>\n

You can just wait and see<\/p>\n

Pick the grass between your toes and<\/p>\n

Watch it all unfold<\/p>\n

Like an endless channel surf<\/p>\n

Or<\/p>\n

You can be<\/p>\n

More than you ever\u00a0 knew<\/p>\n

Because you imagined it so<\/p>\n

Because you made it real<\/p>\n

Or<\/p>\n

You can write poetry<\/p>\n
