Rather they know the by product of feelings the<\/p>\n
Miasma of passion the reconciliation of endless strife<\/p>\n
Battle of the inner-mind fought on a blood streaked plain<\/p>\n
Bodies smoking in the ruins and the chilling hum of empty caravans and<\/p>\n
Twisted armor<\/p>\n
Here is where I am 200 feet tall and swinging an axe<\/p>\n
Here is where I am tiny and lost<\/p>\n
Here is where my footsteps crush the oppressive whine of the machine<\/p>\n
Here is where I cower in fright<\/p>\n
Madness is not the result of this affray<\/p>\n
It is a byproduct like the passion<\/p>\n
Really I am just a book worm<\/p>\n
Passive unless provoked<\/p>\n
Quiet except when pontificating<\/p>\n
Maybe that’s the lie I tell myself<\/p>\n
Really loud I am<\/p>\n
Expansive, explosive, extroverted to the nth power<\/p>\n
Highly aggravated<\/p>\n
Defiant and occasionally rude<\/p>\n
This tempered by some siren in me<\/p>\n
Some dancing light that is musically centered<\/p>\n
She sings a song of penance and creativity<\/p>\n
She lifts my heart out of the mud bog<\/p>\n
She douses my blades in chill waters<\/p>\n
She strokes my fever with cool hands<\/p>\n
The battle rages on<\/p>\n
Always fighting for the perceived good<\/p>\n
Lashing out against the injustice and standing up for the legless and heartless<\/p>\n
No backing down ever<\/p>\n
But so tired sometimes<\/p>\n
So tired<\/p>\n
Judge me in your way then, pass on your triviality to my visage<\/p>\n
I stand for you, for me, for us.<\/p>\n
No time for sleep.<\/p>\n
